                                            Ocean are a continuously flowing large saline water bodies containing  a large ecosystem within. There are five ocean in the word namely Indian ocean, Pacific ocean, Artic ocean, Atlantic ocean and Antarctica ocean. ' World Ocean Day ' fall On 8th June every  year to protect and conserve our ocean. The smaller regions which lie in the oceans are sea, bay, gulf, etc. like the Caspian sea, Gulf of Mexico and Hudson bay. oceans are a major source of food and medicines.

                                         

The theme of  'World Ocean Day ' 2018 was 'Preventing plastic pollution and encouraging solution for a health ocean. The reason behind nearly 80 Of the the pollution in the seas and ocean are the people residing on the land. Around 1million seabird and 1, 00, 000 aquatic animals get affected due to the pollution in the oceans. Ocean are the lifeline of our planet as well as for mankind. A large amount of   'Greenhouse Gases' are absorbed by the oceans.
